Do You Need Royalty Free Graphics?

Do You Need Royalty Free Graphics?

I do a lot of blogging, so I need royalty-free graphics. I used to use sites where I paid by the graphic or picture, but then I found GraphicStock. With GraphicStock, I paid a one-time annual fee of $99.00 which gives me unlimited downloads of their 1,000s of photos, illustrations, and vectors.  When you download, you have the option to download the PSD or Photoshop file so that you can alter. This is where I generally get all my artwork for my blogs and websites. Check it out and be creative...

Apple TV: How to Get Subtitles and Additional Audio in Movies-iTunes & Netflix

By on Aug 26, 2015 in AppleTV | 0 comments

I recently started learning Spanish, and as part of my audio training I wanted to watch a movie with Spanish audio and English subtitles. It was not very clear how to to do this with Apple TV’s very simple remote, so I did some research to bring this information to you in this post. It’s actually quite simple, and this works on both movies you rent or buy from iTunes as well as those you stream from Netflix via your Apple TV. It’s pretty simple, really: Either from Movies or Netflix on your AppleTV, start the movie. Hold down the center of the top button of the remote On this page you can select Chapters, Subtitles, Audio and Speakers :             4. Using the up and side arrows on the top button, navigate to Subtitles and click. If subtitles exist for the movie, they will show up below to select. 5. Using the up and side arrows on the top button, navigate to Audio and click. If additional audio/languages exist for the movie, they will show up below to select. Pretty simple, right? Health Tip from EveryManFit.com: Top 10 Health Tips You Should Start...

5 Cool Things You May Not Know Your iPhone Can Do

By on Aug 15, 2015 in iPhone, personal | 0 comments

Sure, you use your iPhone all the time, but here are 5 little less common tips to better use yours today: 1. In many applications, such as Mail, you can highlight and Bold, Italicize or Underline text. To do this, simply highlight the text you wish to edit, tap the ‘>’ in the pop up menu and choose B, I or U to add your changes.               2. Need to level something? Your iPhone has a little known built in level that uses the phone’s gyroscope to help you align things horizontally and vertically. To access it, launch the compass, then swipe to the left and you are ready to use the level.               3. As you probably already know, closing apps while not in use can save your battery. However, did you know that you can close up to 3 apps at the same time by using 3 fingers to swipe? To do this, just press twice on the center button to show running apps, then align the apps and swipe with 3 fingers.         4. You may already know that Siri does some pretty amazing stuff like finding the local Starbucks, but did you know that you can have Siri read your text messages?  Just ask Siri, “Read my last text message.” Or, if you are looking for a text from someone specific, say, “Read my last text message from _______.” Siri will find the last message, give you the the date and time it was received and then will read the message. Then, it will ask you if you want to reply by voice and send the message for you.   5. Unless you have disabled the feature, your iPhone keeps track of your locations, and uses the data to give you your most frequent locations. To see where you’ve been, your most recent locations, or to turn this feature on or off, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Frequent Locations.     Fitness Tip from EveryManFit.com: Prepare Meals In Advance For Healthier Diet...

Do you work with people in different geographical locations? Whether the others are in a different house, a different city, or somewhere on the other side of the world, Google Hangouts can make you feel close. I currently use this app every day as the team I work with on a day to day basis is all remote. This is great for connecting with family or business associates, too. With Hangouts, all you need is a Google account and a webcam and you can: Video conference with multiple people When a person is talking, their picture appears on everybody’s screen with everyone else’s video in a smaller inset frame at the bottom of the screen. Share your screen with others on the conference call Share texts, links and documents during the conference call Get the app here https://plus.google.com/hangouts It’s available for computers, tablets and mobile phones. How to Get Someone To Do Almost Anything for $5

How to Get Someone To Do Almost Anything for $5

By on Jul 21, 2015 in Business, personal | 0 comments

Yeah, that’s right. For $5 and change (they charge a transaction fee on top of the $5) you can get a person to do almost anything on Fiverr.com. I’ve spent a lot of money on this site over the last few years mainly on helping me in my SEO (Search Engine Optimization) endeavors. There are literally thousands of applicable offerings for your life, too.  Vendors on Fiverr.com make money not on the $5 initial offerings, but rather on the Extra Gig offerings. Sometimes the initial offering is enough for me, but many times I chose the extra gigs, too. Just like eBay, the vendors are driven to please you and get a valuable review. All reviews for vendors are published on their profile. I’ve never regretted a gig I purchased on Fiverr.com. So, are you ready to look for a new job? Maybe you need some resume and cover letter help. Great, here are some offerings for resume and cover letter services starting at $5. Here is an example of what the Initial Gig and extras might cost: Basic Gig – $5 Extra Fast (3 days) – $20 Optimize your LinkedIn Profile – $20 Write a Cover Letter for an application -$20   I have also used Fiverr.com to find an artist for the book cover of my book, “Fat Burning Secrets.” So, go to Fiverr.com and use your imagination.    ...
